Magazine Analysation!
This magazines target audience would be for women around the ages 16-30 because the content in the text is fairly feminine and grown up. The main image displays a picture of a well known and famous person who females may often look up to, making the magazine eye catching as this will be seen first out of the rest of the front page. The main image overlaps the magazines masthead but is still easily recognised because of its iconic font and design. The main cover line stands out to the rest of the cover lines because of its larger, bolder fonts and different colouring. This has been done purposely by the magazine designer to advertise the main and more important article to the public. The colours on this magazine consist of mainly grey, black and white but also includes features of red to make certain parts stand out more than others. This magazine would come under the socio economic group B - D because of the fact that this type of magazine is normally more expensive to others and because of the content in the magazine.
This magazines target audience would be more for men than women considering the design and also aimed towards the ages 30+. The main image is a picture of Steve Jobs who is a well known and a famous person who may appear interesting to the magazines target audience. This magazine only features one cover line suggesting to the reader that it is the main story. The masthead is large and bold so will easily stand out on the cover of the magazine to catch the attention of the readers. There is very little detail on the front cover of the magazine and it also lacks colour as red, black and white are the only colours used on the cover. Little colour suggests that the target audience would be of a more mature group of people whereas a magazine that includes multiple colours suggests that it would be aimed more towards a younger and less mature group of people. This magazine could be for an audience with a more intellectual taste in reading and of the socio economic grouping A - D.
